As if I was a small boat on sail on this day. I was enjoying my journey together with my friend named sea. I was then fixing my eyes to reach my destination which was promised to me with a joyful heart and victoriously. When unexpectedly, I was being crashed and tossed by the waves. Oh! I feel so disappointed what my friend had done to me. That is the main reason why my focus changed instead to my destination, it is redirected to the circumstance that I am in. I stopped and asked the Lord if I have done something wrong to the sea while I was sailing.

Then, the Light shines through me. I am reminded to stand firm and be still for God is at work in the circumstance that I am in. The Light will fight for me if only I will be still. Having seen that the Lord is doing things for His glory in my situation and that He will deliver me in His perfect time; I now stand, looking forward and again fixing my eyes to the promised destination with a joyful heart.



I know that as I continue my journey on sail, I will be encountering a lot of things. I may be crashed and tossed again by the waves. It could also be that the wind will join the waves to destroy me. But one thing is for sure, God is at work. He is training me to be equipped for the greater things or works ahead for His glory. In this case, He is training me to be strong have have the strength from Him. There might be a heavy things ahead waiting to be loaded in me. It only takes my stillness and quietness to gain strength. Thus, the Light will fight for me until the moment when I will land to the final port which is my promised destination.

Exodus 14: 13-14
"Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today....the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still."
